Our last stand-
Edited on Wed Sep-24-08 04:17 PM by asdjrocky
This is scary. I'm enjoying the afternoon, away from my TV and computer and I come back to find McLame wishes to suspend his campaign and postpone the debates. This has been going on for at least ten days and McLame and Sarah have been all over the country in that time. And two days before the debate he calls this last second time out. I say foul.

Either McLame is sick, or this is one of the sickest political ploys ever played on the American people. Is the crisis so great that the two candidates hoping to lead this country through the hard times can't sit down for a two hour talk? I've never been a tin foil hat kind of guy, but I'm ready to put one on now. This is dark and it has the very, very bad smell of suppression. How many times will we let them distract us with this slight of hand of fear?

If he wants to suspend, then suspend. Go back to DC Senator McCain and we'll look to Obama to lead us in this new century. Better yet Senator McCain, why don't you just retire? The bullshit you are peddling is way past its sell by date.

If the media, if the Obama campaign lets these miserable pigs get away with this last fraud on the citizens of this once great country, then it has to be an streets moment for me, for you, for all of us.

We can't let them fool us this last time.

I'm afraid it may be our last stand.

Edited to add-

After the Obama news conference- It's good to see him doing the right thing on this. I think he can serve his campaign well by having a news conference everyday up until election day. Every time I see him speak to the press I more confident in his ability as a leader.

3. I think this is the most scared I've ever been for our country.
I'm not being dramatic. And listening to CNN so far, they're eating it up.

4. Again, it's the pugs showing they care zero for the actual well being of the American people.
It's the just win attitude, along with a complacent media that lets them get away with it.

11. Hey - I was just as upset as all of you LAST week... but having just passed another
'false alarm' cancer checkup a while ago (I've had it twice in the past, but not in -knock on wood - several years) - I can tell you that it puts things in perspective. We're going to WIN, and things are going to get BETTER. Not perfect, not right away, but somehow some way...
