McCain airing TV ads DAILY on my local Utah station (update)
I watch a soap opera (shuddup!!) on CBS and every single day, there is a McCain TV ad aired on our local CBS affiliate. They are spending a ton of money in UTAH!

2. Why would they do that? There is no way Obama will win UT short of
Joseph Smith resurrecting and endorsing him that is:)

11. That's unlikely, but...

Smith would probably declare a third party candidacy of his own.

4. Makes sense to run Fairy Tale ads during soaps. I wonder though, why they
are doing this as I thought UT was solid repub?

5. That's excellent news
If he's spending money in UT, that means he sees problems in red states (as I'm sure everybody has already figured out). The way I know New York city and it's surrounding suburbs is blue is that I haven't seen one Obama ad yet. Do you really feel mccain is some trouble there?

8. I doubt he'd lose here but keep in mind Utah REALLY wanted Romney ... that and I see Obama signs
EVERYWHERE, including the very red suburbs where I live. Next to Obama, you see Romney and Ron Paul signs. I have see one McCain sticker.

Even McSame is not that stupid to spend money in Utah. It must be Nevada...

Hey, have you ever been out to that giant "metaphor" on I-80?

Maybe it's really a signal repeater.

14. I am not sure if this is legal
But the Fairness Doctrine has been abolished (I am pretty sure).

Stations have all kinds of unsold time all the time.

Perhaps instead of running promos for the 6 o clock news, they are running McCain ads?

20. And Nevada -- I see twice as many McCain's ads than Obama
and the one that has ran the longest, and is still going, is the one where he out right lies about Obama raising taxes for families making $42,000 and taking senior's life savings.

23. I wonder if this should be investigated
It makes absolutely no sense for McCain to be spending money in Utah. Either he's illegally getting free ads or there's some sort of shenanigans going on with the way his campaign money is being spent.
