The Clintons are playing GOOD COP-BAD COP
Hillary goes out and makes a strong case for Senator Obama, seemingly making it clear that there's too much at stake to play games.

Then Bill goes out and muddies the waters, complimenting the other side and acting as if a reckless unwell warmonger and an unethical religious zealot would be just fine in the White House even though he prefers the unmentionable guy. (As an aside, think about what being "unmentionable" means.)

WHAT A LOAD! It's as if one or both of them would really like to see McCain win so that Hillary can rescue us from him (or, more likely, Palin) in 2012. No surprise that Hillary's voters aren't completely on board yet ~ the message is too muddy to read.

possibility I do disagree with you, no? I'm not parroting anyone, but who are you parroting? Yes, you are pathetic, but you know that. Are you 13 yet? :eyes:

Lunatics? Nutjob? This is a discussion forum, not some place you get to display your rage. Go talk to someone else that way, or try to curb it.

9. So when Bill was saying stupid things...
...during the primaries that hurt Hillary's chances...was he wanting her to lose???? He's not a 'talking points' guy...he says what's in his head.

Keep in mind, if Bill had said all the right things during the primaries, Hillary would most likely be our candidate right now.

Don't be distracted. What Obama needs most is UNITY!

I think we should accept that his comments are or should be irrelevant at this point and move on.

18. FYI
The Obama campaign has not attacked Palin directly. Attacking the person who "is just like us" is not smart. The truth about Palin is out there for all to see. Obama doesn't need to dirty his hands.

14. With all the zeal of criticizing Bill...
...who actually listened to what he said. I did.

Bill said that he believed Obama would win. Dave asked him if he thought it would be a close race. Bill said "no".
He not only thinks he will win, but apparently it will be a big win. He may have given the old guy a lot of pats on the back, but his confidence is in Obama.

but it might deny some people around here the opportunity to do the melodramatic hatefests that lately make up about 3/4 of this forum.

This has nothing to do with Hillary.

She's been a true Democrat since the primary race ended.

ON EDIT: You'd be hard-pressed to find a SINGLE anti-Hillary post on DU since the DNC.

24. I disagree...they're not that organized
Not in the primaries (see reasons why Hillary was defeated) and not now.

That said, George Will has been a more effective advocate for Obama than Bill Clinton. If it's his wife's political future he really cares about, he'd do well to turn up the volume for his own party.

Bill Clinton, for better or worse, has consistently liked EVERYBODY. You know, like Will Rogers. Sorry he isn't the carbon copy left wing pundit who simply memorizes the talking points.

win this time around, there won't be anything left for her to rescue in 2012 or 2016. The sooner her holdout supporters realize this, the better.

I think her supports who switched over to McCain are a slap in her face. It proves her uterus was more important to them than her policies.
