Does Bill Clinton still feel our pain?
Edited on Mon Sep-22-08 11:55 AM by FrenchieCat
This is the most important election in our lifetime, and my children's future as well as the future of millions of other children depends on the outcome...... as does mine and millions of hard working Americans; not to count millions around the world.

I just hope that our pain is being felt and understood by Bill Clinton and taken into consideration....and that his priority like the priority of all Democrats who can make a difference is to win this particular general election, period.

Anyone putting themselves first in anyway, and distracting from what is the upmost priority is letting us know exactly what they think of us.

We shall see what Bill Clinton feels; whether his actions will be based on his pain versus ours. Thus far, I have been handed a bandaid to cover my bullet hole and told to suck it up. I'm coming to the conclusion that this is not good enough.

In this election, there is a certain segment of the population who will not forget who helped whom with what. Some folks are cleared eyes and cannot be bamboozled.

and our leaders into the next decade.

Their mortgages must depend on it. After the consistent sabotage of 2004, I don't believe in coincidence theory. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=389&topic_id=4057245&mesg_id=4057245

5. No, some of us just don't like seeing good Democrats bashed and smeared.
You seem fine with that, I don't.

4. Bill Clinton supports Barack Obama. So yes, he feels our pain.
You and others can paint this picture that he doesn't. But that's your own problem.

Create whatever lie you want to create.

7. I'm not painting a picture, I'm asking a question......
and I thank you for your answer.

I am glad that Clinton is part of the war room, and will do whatever it takes to see that John McCain is defeated. That is encouraging.

20. I was just telling somebody how great Frenchiecat is
and now I see you joining in the Clinton bashing. That's sad and it's not right and is divisive. Bill Clinton was the only 2 term Democratic President we've had in 50 years and he left us with a with a surplus instead of the biggest deficit ever. He and Obama said that Clinton would start campaigning in October so whatever he was doing on the View was to promote one of his pet projects. After all the ranting and demanding that the Clintons better show up at the Convention and then they did, in a big way. Do you folks ever frickin' learn? Bill will be back in October and I hope I see as many apology threads as I do the crap that is supposed to be discussion today.

17. Bill has NO responsibility for his actions and words, does he? YOU think he says things innocently
as if he has no concept of the politics involved. Then, the proClinton camp (like you) tell us he's the sharpest political animal of this generation and can't be ignored.

Total disconnect.

12. Nope, Bill Clinton never felt anybody's pain but his own.
He shammed the Democratic Party for eight years.

All he cares about is himself.

Fuck him.

No, on second thought, that's what Bill REALLY wants.

13. He makes me believe that he doesn't
If he did he would be terrified of a McCain white house. And he'd be outspoken about it. I am eager to trust Bill Clinton but he makes it very hard with his actions.

why would he want to put Obama in office?

I think he has been a jerk throughout this whole campaign.

18. He was there to sell a book, he did us not a bit of good. He did harm.
He did harm by doing too little and he knows better.

Too bad, he had the opportunity to contrast the two candidates, to warn us about McCain, to make a difference, to leave the world a better place for your kids and mine.

And he failed.

He didn't even try.

Bill only cares about Bill, it becomes more and more clear over time.

26. Did I say he can't be criticized? My point is that there are certain posters who seem to jump on any
opportunity to bash the Clintons and create division. Don't worry, you're not included in my "list" of "Usual Suspects."
