Call Cable Provider and say SBVFT Add too "Graphic" for your family
Edited on Wed Sep-01-04 03:08 PM by Darby
These ads talk about rape, torture and mutilation - with no parental advisory. I had my 2 year old in the room when one ad came on.

These ads need to come off - too graphic with no warning or advisory to parents. Offensive.

1. Call the FCC first - remind them of their new platform on decency.

9. is that it needs a parental advisory on it -
Oh party of family values - before my impressionable 2 year old sees it, her VALUES are ruined and she grows up to talk about drinking and Sex in the City the first time she is on national TV

13. Uh huh. In prime time ... yes. This was a tape of a trial before the
Senate Foreign Relations committe regarding WAR CRIMES, I'd say that's pretty graphic - and not intended for "family viewing"

14. Kerry's ENTIRE testimony should be required reading/viewing
in high school. But yes, the truth about the horrors of war is too graphic for toddlers, imho.

7. sent this e-mail:
Indecency in political ads for SwiftBoat Liars.

The major indecency are the lies being communicated through these ads.

That apparently does not bother the FCC. However, there is an ad by this group today which talks about torture and mutilation - with no parental advisory. I had a 5 year old in the room when one ad came on. These ads need to come off - too graphic with no warning or advisory to parents. VERY OFFENSIVE.

Please do your jobs and forbid this type of ad.
