2. So they can control the message.. At these rally's on both sides, there are NO
signs. That's just how it is.

3. Maybe they provide them.
That happened some in the 2004 election. If you let people bring signs, no telling what they might bring in some areas.

7. They do.. the hand made one's are provided too.. Vollunteers make them
up before the event.. They want control of the message on t.v... in a national election, everything is very controlled.. and this stage in the game, there are absolutely no chances being taken AT ALL. Last thing Obama needs behind him is 9/11 Truthers or CodePink (last rally, though, I did wear my button to the event.. too small to even get noticed on camera, so that was ok).. But the pink banners behind Obama would not be good at this time, and I know that.

4. they're handing them out maybe?........
........ so they have neat and tidy signs in the crowd and no janky homemade ones .......... I mean, i'm all about staying up the night before with the kids to make "We Love Obama" signs with glitter and magic markers, but do we really wanna give the Republicans their own "Mavrick" moment?

but then again ...... if there were any misspelled signs in the crowd, would any of the Republicans notice it?

Signs supplied by the campaign would be my guess.

(checking to make sure I didn't misspell anything before I hit the post button)

10. Oh, right! Thanks. Still, I'm working 10am-midnight on Wednesday
with two hours off in the afternoon (woohoo). Monday through Wednesday are crazy work days this week. I'm off Thursday through Sunday. Here's hoping there's an event I can travel to then.

12. Venue is kind of small --5,000. A lot of people who can't get in must be dissapointed
when they get locked out of theses small venues. Maybe there is visibility on the outskirts of the Park borders
