I mean geez, he's been a member of the party that controlled congress for 6 years AND the same party as the idiot in the White House George Bush.

But all I read is "Elect me and I'll find Bin Laden" or "Elect me and I'll fire the SEC Chief". Now I just read that if we "Elect Him", he'll ruffle the feathers of Wall Street and Washington.

Why the hell isn't he doing this NOW; he's a US Senator.. If he can find bin Laden or solve this economic crisis then get in there and do it. Why should I have to wait 4 months until he's in office to have him do this stuff.

And in defense of Obama, yeah he's a US Senator too but he also would have to pass a bill that wouldn't be Veto'd by Bush.

Forget, for a moment, that he actually proposed and supported most of the disastrous policies and appointments in the last eight years.

No one can ignore that he was totally ineffective in having any influence whatsoever in his own party with the corruption he opposed, or claims he opposed. And if he can’t stop one instance of torture, or stop one round of golf with Abramoff, he will not turn the tide on Wall Street. It’s an argument that would play well with independents.
