I'm Proud of Democratic Underground
It's been a tough, dark couple of weeks. But we held together. We didn't panic. We worked harder. We donated. We wrote. We researched. We kept at it.

And this is why we will win.

We are not alone. The quiet storms have consumed us, like it has the majority of Americans.

America is not asleep. They are paying attention. And it didn't take long for America to see the charade that was being played by McCain / Palin.

They can try and steal the 'change' theme all they want. America knows McCain was running his campaign on experience and when he realized he wasn't going to win on that, tried to make a desperate attempt at posing as a change candidate.

Well, we saw that coming. And Americans saw how shallow it really was, thanks to places like DU and Kos.

Lift up your heads high DUers. You've done well. Now get back to it!

7. True. I am always in awe of the people at DU. I find information here 2 or 3 days before it hits
the networks. When someone comes over to tell me something they just heard on radio or TV, I always have to tell that them that I knew that 3 days ago. I read it on DU!!!

8. Landslide. But keep working.
It is important to drill home to the political powers that Obama has a massive mandate to implement his plan for the CHANGE WE NEED.

9. And all of our compliments (if I may be so bold) to an excellent campaign,
run intelligently by a well-prepared candidate who hired an exemplary team.

They're proven themselves not only prepared for the road, but also for the roadblocks.
