Palin puts herself on the top of the ticket. It's now "Palin and McCain"
We all know McCain's been having a rough couple days. No worries, Sarah Palin is taking matters into her own hands. Today, she unveiled the Palin/McCain ticket. I've never heard a vice presidential candidate putting themselves first before. It's an unwritten rule that the president is always first. But, not for Sarah. She touted the "Palin and McCain administration":

I wonder how long before she kicks the old man off her ticket?

1. I've been calling it the Palin/Mccain ticket since the convention. Not at all surprising to me that
that's how she sees it.

That thought alone should be enough to scare any thinking Independent or Republican into voting for Obama, if all the good reasons don't work.

16. I wonder what happens to their ticket if John becomes too sick or
incapacitated. he's been so odd lately, making stupid mistakes. Reminds me of someone on the run up to a stroke. :(

20. Most of the posts I've read on that subject have said the Repubs would pick either Romney
or Huckabee in McCain's place, if he were out of the picture, and keep Palin as the VP candidate.
But those were just guesses. I don't know if anyone has offered a definitive answer on that.

Edited on Thu Sep-18-08 06:15 PM by awoke_in_2003
but if we presumed "Palin on top" to mean she was literally on top, McCain would be on bottom. Face down doesn't seem to work- that is unless, of course, he likes humping the mattress :)

19. Well, I thought of that, too...
in that case, Sarah would need to buy some appliances :)

21. I'm talking about her crushing the guy, grappling with him
taking him to the mat, so she can grab the Office of the Prez.. just waiting for her to get in there (hopefully not) and declaring him insane or senile since according to the constitution she as Veep would be able to do that, and he'd have to PROVE he wasn't..

Of course if she had everyone in her pocket in Congress then she indeed would be Prez, maybe the night of the Inagural Ball :)

Sorry about the confusion ..

6. Callers to RW radio have been saying this since she was picked
I've heard it at least 50 times on Boortz, Hannity and Elmer Fudd or whatever the heck that evening guy's name is on WSB radio in Atlanta. Oh yeah, Herman Caine. I work odd hours now and talk radio plays as background noise at work - like elevator muzak.

Callers have been saying "Palin/McCain" almost since day one with no correction by any of the above mentioned "professionals".

14. If McCain wins, he won't survive one year.
What's a little murder among the zealots? Anything to advance Armageddon. "God made me do it."

McCain-Palin is the scariest ticket in American history - ever.

17. Our new talking point: "Why is Palin being positioned at the top of the ticket?"
"Is something wrong with McCain that we should know about? Why is the McCain campaign being so secretive? The American People have a right to know!!!!11!!"
