9/11 was mentioned 1000 times (someone should count and give the exact number);

there was hardly a whisper about what is happening in Iraq;

there was no mention of the increase in unemployment, poverty and the uninsured;

The pain and fear around 9/11 was expolited and the painful truth for many in the US today was ignored.

For a party who doesn't like Hollywood, they are sure good at portarying a fantasy reality.

Vote Republican because people smiled when Nelson Mandela got out of prison? Vote Republican because Jenna and Drunka watch Sex in the City?

What are they saying to working men and women worried about their jobs? "Dun't be an economic girlyman."

What are they saying to people who want to know how we get out of the quagmire in Iraq? "Junior Flyboy was so fine and brave and resolute getting us IN....you know, France and Germany tried to talk us out of it, but did he listen?"

Even for a Republican convention there's no content at all. They hate Michael Moore and wounded servicemen, and that's about all they got so far.
