I feel our chances are good, but I'm afraid of getting my hopes up too high. But watching Sarah Palin's star gradually fade over the last few days has definitely improved my spirits. :)

Even when the polls cause some to doubt, I'm certain We got this.

Kerry is a fine Senator and a great guy no doubt but he's no Barack Obama - and he nearly (and should've) beat a sitting President during a war.
Now we have someone who generates excitement that we haven't seen in a decade going against a guy who is disliked by a good chunk of his own party.
We've got the numbers on our side.
We've got current events on our side.

And now amazingly the press is turning to our side?! And some are worried?!


That's not to say we should sit on our butts til November.
I want and am working for blowout margins.
I want a 60+ majority in the Senate.
I want the press to talk for weeks on who the GOP can recover from such a loss.
I want Obama to win with such a mandate that Rush and Hannity are speechless
I want FOX deciding the only way they can stay in business is to try and go further to the left than Air America.
I want new map with slivers of red in a vast sea of blue.

Screw sitting around biting my nails in fear of "OMG how will we lose again!!"
I got calls to make and doors to knock on.

13. We need to ride the current levels 5-8 point lead through the debates

while performing well, and then I'll be in the "We got this" camp. For now I'm still cautiously optimistic (but very, very hopeful!).

Looking forward to (and confident in) being in the We Got This camp.
