SCHMIDT: OBAMA “CHEERLEADING” WALL STREET CHAOS
Thursday, September 18th, 2008

McCain camp topper tells reporters on the press plane en route to Cedar Rapids he thinks Obama and the Democrats are milking the economic crisis for political gain.

“I think a lot of Americans are going to be angry about that by virtue of the fact that what caused this is greed and avarice on Wall Street, incompetence and reckless oversight in Washington, and now the politics has entered into it, the who can take the most advantage of this.”

15. Yeah, the economy isn't a political issue. Politicians should avoid addressing it, out
of fear of "politicizing" it. But 9/11 and terrorism and war and patriotism and the military--THOSE are issues to be used as political footballs.
