Biden said that paying more taxes is patriotic.

This is the problem with the rethugs. They would not know what is patriotic if it hit them in the face. What is more patriotic than paying higher taxes (if you are in the top 2% in income) so that the millions of babies who do not currently have health insurance can be covered. If that is not patriotic then I don't know what is.

To the rethugs patriotism means sending young men and women to war with no plan and based on lies! Patriotism is more than simply firing off bombs and granades.

They need Biden to attack on the republican counterattack. Frame it around how republicans think it's best for billionaires and big oil to dodge taxes, and how McCain helped them do it.

Turned on the McCain/Palin rally for a second, and no surprise, Palin of course is conflating the "patriotism" thing to make it sound like Biden is saying this as a general statement to ALL people who pay taxes...god, she sounds like a fucking psycho when she talks. For that matter, so does John McCain, it baffles me how anyone could find them appealing. "It's not about Patriotism, it's about JUDGEMENT!!!" Let me guess, the pundits will be fawning all over her bc she finally got a new script after three weeks.
