The press today skewering their regrettable performance is good enough for me.

2. I agree. They are lame. They are fair game, campaigning, but who cares.

Not worth any significant amount of focus. Laura either for that matter. They are not running for office.

Just like I (and hopefully most of DU) dislike the vitriolic attacks on Teresa H-K. Not just because they are usually distorted and unfair, but the lady is not running for office.

They acted exactly the way Rove & Co. told them to - - like a couple of Jessica Simpson wannabees. Cute li'l airheads. Too dumb to be crooked - - but boy howdy, ain't they some eye candy?! Drawing attention away from their inept daddy.

8. Bush twins are college graduates

Let's assume that the Bush twins are reasonably intelligent - they are college graduates, are 21 years old, been in the spotlight their entire lives through daddy and granddaddy. I think we should have seen a bit more maturity, poise and public speaking ability. Now contrast that to the little 12-year old girl that spoke at the Democratic Convention in July.

That young lady doesn't have the benefit of a college education, ten years of maturity or a lifetime of experience in front of people to draw from but that young lady blew the convention and media out of their socks.

I wish I could remember her name, sorry, she deserves to be run on every TV station comparing her speech to the Bush girls' giggly fest. The young lady showed conviction, passion and committed for John Kerry - the Bush twins gave the appearance of "Daddy promised us a trip to south Florida for a month long party" if we do this commitment.

The young lady has concerns and easily articulated them, the Bush girls are about as deep as a mud puddle. Giggle, giggle.

I was surprised how they each had very unattractive voices, for such pretty girls.....What they had to say was meaningless and unimportant...IMO.
