Sooo, is Wall Street crashing?
I'm really enjoying my morning coffee and have decided not to look.

But I'm a little concerned about my 0 dollars and 0 cents worth of investments though, lol.

4. I have $2k in a bear fund. It goes up when the market goes down.
It's going up.

It's my only direct investment, other than what I have in a guaranteed -payout retirement fund.

6. This is not a sarcastic question, but one of complete
sincerity. How do you know that payout for your retirement fund is guaranteed? So much of what is suppose to be is blown away by new laws and other methods of trickery.

38. It's guaranteed by the state; it's a defined-benefit plan, not defined-contribution.
Nothing is absolutely guaranteed in life, but the state would have to go broke or something for me to lose that small retirement.

8. Market UP
Of course, billions and billions of dollars from the world's central banks are pouring into markets to pump them up.

Look for lots of "we may be seeing the formation of a bottom" talk from the investment advisors on CNBC.

But, it will be for nothing ... too much debt ... it will all unravel eventually.

Remember, if you still own stocks -- sell into the rallies -- here's your chance.

Morgan Stanley is probably going to be bought by China.I always find those entertaining. Where are debt is sold to a foreign owner.

Nothing to worry about. There's no way China would allow the American market to collapse and everyone would try to help regulate the market.

41. It could happen.
But it would take a hell of a long time to make that population sufficiently middle class enough to where they'd start turning over jobs to us. And if the Chinese lift their reproduction cap, forget about it.

27. Hey man, at least we'd have jobs.
That sort of situation might just work out great for the middle class. Look at India and China. What is the most striking difference between themselves and us? A thriving middle class.

Outsourcing seems to do the middle class very good (as long as you're on the receiving end, that is).

Much of our current national debt? Yep, China.

The money we got to bail out Bear Sterns, Fannie/Freddie and AIG? Yep, China.

Bush and Cheney sold us to China, no question.

When this crappy plan of Paulson's -- to unload all the bad debt onto the American taxpayer -- is killed because it is so stupid, the market will drop a thousand points.

Place your bets -- red or white, odds or evens -- the wheel goes 'round and 'round.
