6. I don't think the "lowering expectations"...

...thing will work for her. I've only listened to her a few times but her voice, expressions and general attitude are so exaggerated and fake sounding that even when she says something fairly intelligent she comes off like she's doing a parody of herself. She sounds like a stand up comedian doing a skit. The contrast with Joe Biden, who is wise, so well informed and an excellent speaker, will be remarkable. It will be like the mature father with the snarky teenage daughter.
