For the wealthy paying higher taxes isn't just a patriotic act, it's one of self-interest
It's paying for the preservation of the middle class. It's paying for an environment in which business can succeed. It's paying for infrastructure and education. It's not just about patriotism. It's about pragmatism.

3. one of self-interest........ that is the hugest duh they arent getting. i am nice to people
when i am not nice to people and THEY feel bad, i feel worse. ergo, it behooves me to be nice so i dont feel bad

MY self interest and selfishness to be nice
