I think this would be the best way to deal with it so it doesn't appear that Obama is running away and afraid to confront the issue. He should deal withit in the context of a retrospective of the campaign primary season and what he learned, warts and all.

This is going to be rough water to negotiate regardless of when it comes out. Obama could take a proactive approach and state directly in one of his speeches that they will try to use this to smear him in the upcoming weeks. He could lay out his position first so the pukes have to refute it rather than Obama having to refute their claims. If he lays down very clearly his side of the story, the initial impact from the pukes will be decreased. He will still be hit, but he will know which part of his body to block, and the blow will be diminished because of this. Depending on how well he can state his position, he may even cause the pukes' blow to just glance off of him rather than truly sink in.

The problem with waiting for them to bring it up and then reacting is that we are almost forced into the mud, just where they have been trying to get us the entire time. No doubt they will try to employ this tactic as close to Nov. 4 as possible, thus taking attention again away from the real issues and forcing the focus onto an "extremist" Obama. If they do attack back with the Plain religious issues they will be called sexist, they will be called defensive, and they be left with few options aside jumping into the mud at precisely the time they should be as far away from the pigs and their mess as possible.

It's a very well run campaign, but when I know someone has info like they have against Obama, and that they are planning on bringing it out, I'd cut them off and broach the topic on my own and clear the air as much as possible from my end. This will cause the pukes attacks to land in an arena already familiar with the idea and will decrease their impact. Obama needs to state that he realizes by saying what he is saying that the pukes will likely quote his statments in their ad's, but that he feels the air should be made clear of this before the most important days of this election are upon both his and the Liar's campaigns.
