22. Here's what I think is up with Tweety:

1 - he got kicked off the reporting on the campaign trail, and that pissed him off big-time
2 - he is pissed that the McCain camp is keeping Palin from doing anything but very controlled interviews
3 - he lost a lot of money this week
4 - he suddenly really saw how they play the game -- how they stick to the talking points - you noticed how he drilled Cantor, saying "You've never once said the word 'Republican'" - and the thing is, even when called on it, Cantor never did utter the word, not once, even after Tweety called him on it several times. Cantor is good at sticking to the talking points. "Democrat party" "crisis of confidence" and avoiding any responsibility, and avoiding saying Bush or saying the name of his party. They are totally into manipulating with their linguistic tricks and it has worked for them SO WELL up to this point that they just can't figure out what the hell is happening.

That is their entire approach. They truly think this is Psychological and not real. In order to rebuild confidence they deny that they are Republicans now that the GOP candidates are "mavericks".
