My mom, an older white woman, voted for Hillary, now she LOVES Obama
Edited on Wed Sep-17-08 08:11 PM by Skwmom
I tried my hardest during the primary to get her to vote for Obama. It didn't work. But once Hillary was out of the picture and she started to listen to Obama she became a fan.

My mother-in-law is an older white woman who voted for Hillary and is now voting for Obama. And ditto for her group of friends (all older white women) who meet for breakfast every Tuesday.

And the best part. They both live in swing states (OH and VA)!

2. Mine too, same scenario. I'm proud to have her on board.
I was so happy she voted for Kerry in 2004.

Didn't think she'd vote in 2008. But then Sarah Palin got in the race, and she started paying attention.

4. My mom thinks Palin is giving small town folks a bad name.
She thinks she's a liar, not to bright, and a religious fanatic.

There are a lot of Clinton supporters for Obama. I'm glad to hear some of the stories here.
