DU: Let's have a day where we attack the RNC instead of cower from it!
Come on DU, let's not allow the Media and the RNC to determine our day with false and misleading info that is designed to throw us into disarray. Stop, research, and think, before posting knee-jerk, the sky is falling, threads.

Remember, this is a well coordinated strategy by the RNC and it's based on knowing that us Dems fall for this shit all the time.

So I say Fuck em.... Let's have a day where we kick their asses until they cry Mama!

2. Some folks are doing it with class
A bunch of folks will be at Cooper Union tonight reading the Constitution, including the Bill of Rights. Participants include activists from the Police/Firefighters, Sen. Robert Byrd, and actors like Alec Baldwin and Sam Waterston. 5pm at the Great Hall.

I'm for posting signs with a picture of the Constitution with the words Preserve Protect Defend on it. What the RNC is doing is just the opposite!

3. Let's have a day where Dem leaders and nominee don't cower
from the GOP? We only take the lead from the pathetic cowards that comprise this party. 75% percent of the planet is thirsting for the defeat of AWOL and yet we have a war hero nominee who is a stands there and shows no emotion when being called a phony and a coward. Pretty dispiriting if you ask me. And now comes word that John Sasso might join the campaign? That will truly be the end. Dukakoid dirty trickster over and over again...

Ask yourself why a Repuke who stood at 90 percent in the poll's is now tied with the challenger? And BTW: You sure want JK to sound more like Dean.... but was it Dean who accepted the nomination? Your scorch and burn strategy is foolish.

10. The campaign is just starting - let's kick rethuglican butt!
Labor day is coming up - marking the real start of the campaign. So let's get to work.

Let the repuglican party enjoy their few days of being "compassionate." They have nothing to offer the country, and it is going to becoming clearer and clearer thru the next couple of months.

13. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.
I'm really tired of all the "I'm scairt" threads.

My own severe disquiet began just before the election of 2000. I'd survived Nixon, Reagan & Bush I, so what was this knot of tension in my stomach? It couldn't be that bad, could it? After election night, Florida, the Supreme Court, etc., I realized that I wasn't paranoid, after all.

However, by now I'm used to that feeling of dread; in fact, I'm bored with it. Anybody who's just waking up to the fact that something is wrong is a bit behind the times.

So I keep hope alive & avoid watching the RNC.
