father. They said they weren't political, Arnie gave them a justification to marry a Democrat, they made "a young and irresponsible" reference to their father's drug usage, and said, that, like them, their father was "looking for something to do for the next four years!" They weren't flattering to their grandparents either, implied Barb liked nothing about them and they didn't care. And then there was that bizarre line about this being "payback". Sort of odd wasn't it? And one can only blame the writers so much.

1. I couldn't even finish watching the clip
on C-Span. They were way too valley girlish for my taste. Elevator doesn't reach all floors.

2. They were sabotaging pops campaign so that they can lead near normal
lives. The girls have witnessed their mom and Karen Hughes at times when this Wash.D.C. presidency thing seemed too much for them.

They want a vacation. A long vacation.

5. They will continue to goof off but with less scrutiny. At least , that's
what they may be thinking. Out of the national spotlight for them and their poor ol' tired mom.

7. I'll reserve judgement as to their charactor-
They may be drinking to self medicate themselves in an attempt to escape from an unwanted life.

4. I agree....
It almost seemed liked they were tired. And the references to Outkast and Sex in the City didn't go over well with the fundies. I think they are really tired of it and want out. There were also many references to problems within the family. They may not even be Republicans but have no other choice. Who knows.....
