I want you to think about that for a second.

The Republican Candidate for Vice President of the United States has a "First Dude"

And today, while she was giving a nationally televised speech in Golden, Colorado she said just that.

"First Dude".

Tell me how we lose this thing.

6. because stupid people don't like to be reminded they're stupid...
so they don't want someone who's smarter than they are as president. If the president's as dumb (or at least plays dumb) as they are, they can say to themselves, "Hey, I'm not so bad after all. I'm smart enough to be president!"

And they have the right to vote--and they exercise it. (After all, it's not like they have a brain that needs exercising.)

Instead of, you know, doing mankind a favor and performing a self-castration and staying home.

7. Second amendment question. With all the recent developments, including
the "first dude" comment and knowing how that resonates with some Americans.

And knowing that if we don't win this time, what's left of our country will scarcely be worth fighting for in it's corrupt state.

And etc., etc., ....

I wonder if any pro-gun-control types are beginning to have a newfound understanding of the right to bear arms.

My mind sometimes go in strange directions....earlier I was thinking about how "eat the rich" might become a life skill.

10. Actually Kathleen Sebelius (D) calls her husband "first dude"
Alas, someone didn't tell the Anchorage Daily News who relished the "First Dude" moniker and used it frequently in stories and headlines about the Iron Dog champion. So the newspaper was quite disappointed to learn in March 2007 that Gary Sebelius had first dibs on a "more low-key, manly moniker" and had rejected the "dainty 'First Gentleman.'"

12. seriously, i don't see a problem with that. Obama better not be counting on "First DudeGate" to pu
put him over the finish line, cuz i doubt it's gonna do it. jeezus christ, stick to something substantive (as much as possible). i am the firt one to recognize that these kind of cultural intangibles are what a lot of people vote on, but i seriously doubt that a whole lot of middle america is going to have a problem with "first dude." it makes it look like you're taking issue with the fact that a man is the "first spouse," instead of a woman, thus reversing the way things "should" be. again, probably not a good talking point.

And yet, we could still lose this thing.

I don't know how, but we could.

15. Bit of a problem, though... twice.
Palin (pants in the family Sarah) MAY have had an affair resulting in a baby.

Dude may have been running Alaska in the background.
