Obama airs ad on guns, economy
Barack Obama's campaign is airing a new radio ad in New Hampshire that focuses on Obama's stance on the Second Amendment and the economy.

The ad features Ray Schoenke, a former Washington Redskins player and current president of the American Hunters and Shooters Association.

"It's important to me that our next president protects our Second Amendment rights to own guns and defend ourselves," Schoenke says in the ad. "Barack Obama and John McCain will both make sure we can keep our guns. But what about keeping our jobs? Barack's got a real plan that invests in creating jobs here at home and cuts taxes a thousand bucks for working families."

That sounds good on the surface but AHSA is a front for gun-control.

It’s possible the ad could backfire on Obama and open him up to criticism for a using a gun-control group, masquearading as a pro-gun group, to make Obama look like a staunch supporter of our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms for self-defense.

Learn more about AHSA at DU thread Sorry, folks, but I don't think I can support the AHSA and at Wiki AHSA.

Obama has proven he can speak for himself and he's already promised he will not take rifles, shotguns, and handguns.

The only remaining critical issue re RKBA is for Obama to oppose reinstating the Assault Weapons Ban as expanded in H.R. 1022 so that the Attorney General has the authority to ban semiautomatic firearms used for self-defense and other lawful purposes.
