UK government; hope Kerry wins
No 10's silent support for Kerry

John Kerry supporters in America have been told by Peter Hain that Downing Street is hoping the Democratic candidate wins the US presidential election in November.

In public the government will remain studiously neutral.

But in a sign of frustration inside the Labour party over the government's neutrality, the Blairite group Progress is to issue a scathing attack on Mr Bush's record, although the group is sympathetic to the action in Iraq; Alan Milburn, the former cabinet minister, is its honorary president.

In an editorial in its journal of the same name next week, Progress says: "By his manner, his rhetoric and sometimes his actions George Bush has presented to the world an image of America that its friends know is not its true face. That is why those who recognise that American leadership is vital and a force for good in an uncertain world will wish John Kerry well."

1. Blair will move away from neoconservatism if Kerry wins
He and Kerry are more alike on domestic issues, and there is no evidence to suggest that Blair shares the Bush team's desire for global conquest. Blair will have nothing to do with an American initiated war in Iran.

2. Blair's Labour Party
Are the same as our Democratic Party. Most Americans don't seem to realize this, though. They also don't seem to realize that the majority of Brits oppose bush.

And if Labour had anyone to replace the bLiar with, they'd have done so long ago.

The bLiar has already told bush the UK will NOT be in any further "coalitions" with the US.

What REALLY pisses me off is this "spreading democracy" crap:

Americans love the UK as being our "good friends"; but the MAJORITY OF BRITS OPPOSED the invasion and OPPOSE bush, and think Americans are "God-forsaken idiots".

Bliar IGNORED the majority of Brits.

And Americans cheer the UK for "spreading democracy".

The majority of people in France OPPOSED the invasion and OPPOSE bush.

Chirac DID NOT IGNORE the majority of his own people.

And Americans smear France for not "spreading democracy".

The Spanish people overwhelmingly opposed the invasion of Iraq and bush (90+ %). The Spanish government IGNORED the vast majority of its own people.

And this is "spreading democracy".

So..."democracy" actually means doing whatever the bushCartel demand. Period.

Hitler's version of "democracy" revived by bush.

7. What's ironic is that Chirac is much more right-wing than Blair
being able to oppose such an unpopular war helped him immensely.

13. And rethugs mocked Kerry for his "foreign leaders" comment.
It's common sense. The world (except maybe one or two countries) wants Kerry to win.
