i'm getting physically ill
i've avoided the convention for the most part, but i turned it up when i saw the twins... after seeing dim son and now pickles, i'm literally getting ill -- my face is flushed, my neck and chest are burning, and my head is throbbing.

does anyone else have the physiological response?

1. I'm not watching right now
I can only take it in verrrrrry small doses. I saw a few sentences from the twins and then the Chimp painfully reading his script, and that's all I could take.

12. HAHAHA!!! Nice twist!!! Somebody should use the clip in an ad
"My husband didn't want to go to war." Yeah, the Vietnam war. But he was itching for a fight when it came to sending the next generation.

there is no effing way in the world
I would subject myself to this drivel.

If I want to get sick, I'd far rather drink myself into it rather than watch a repukathon on television.

5. Yes. It's truly amazing
I can feel such physical revulsion. Not even attempting to watch any of it this week just can't do it. I thought I could watch some, a few speeches but I find I'm actually doing a lot better with Comedy Central and HGTV.

8. I wanted to watch teh whole thing but
I had to draw the line at Laurabot5000. I know these types of women. The only opinions they have is opinions that their husband/father tells them they have.

9. It was the anti-Yale cheer that put me over the top, actually
When you start cheering against people with brains, who attempt to pursue knowledge, rather than rot in a pre-fascist, magical thinking absolutist, totalitarian land of pisslogic and fantasy, that's when I start to get hot.

Lemme tell ya.
