1. Whoa, I've never seen McCain at 50% nationally before...
...like Rasmussen has him.

3. Operative word: Rasmussen.
Scottie was desperate to get his name dropped on FauxNooseSunday so he massaged the digits just enough...

4. Don't let it worry you...

When McCain jumped in the polls Ras said that it was due to a very good day of polling for McCain coming in the front of the three day sample, and a good day for Obama falling off the tail end on the same day.

The next day after that, the poll stayed the same. Basically this means that the value that fell off the back of the poll was about the same as the value that came in the front. Today both candidates gained one point. Also, today was the first day Ras changed their weightings to favor republicans even more.

Tomorrow, the "very good day of polling" for McCain will be falling off the back of the survey.

There will be many disappointed freepers.

2. Bad news for McCain no matter how you slice it.
The honeymoon with Sarah has reached the beginning of the end. After all, she's too young, too inexperience, and is a superficial overnight celebrity.

6. I hope McCain enjoyed being in the lead for a week.
It's the last time he ever will be in that position.
