We all know them. They are out there. They don't like to talk politics, and when they do, they say things like, "I'm voting for McCain because Sarah Palin's a hockey mom" or or "I oppose Obama because he's Muslim" or "I support Obama because of Oprah Winfrey." These are the people who are influenced by the quantity of bumperstickers and lawn signs. These are the people who will vote the way their minister or someone else tells them to. These are the people who will remember nothing about a candidate but his catchphrases.

Hope Change Fired up Family values Lower taxes Mission accomplished Read my lips Stay the course The surge
Obama needs to do more with type of thing. He must win the catchphrase war. He must plant memorable little phrases into the public consciousness. Those kinds of slogans, along with endorsements, is key to winning the disinterested vote.
