I vow to be one of the Ones We've Been Waiting For. I vow to ignore corp media, other than to know what lies to counter.
I vow to post no negative polls, particularly those from known RW organizations.
I vow to write and challenge lies in the media.
I vow to banish fear. If I can't, I will deal with my fear privately rather than pass it on.
I vow not to criticize our candidates until after the election, no matter what.
I vow to keep in mind that these posts are public, and that all kinds of people - media, GOP, Rovians, and simple lurkers are reading.
I vow to stay positive, and to know that Obamas team know a lot more about politics than I do.
I vow not to respond to obvious freeper trolls.
I vow to promote positive, helpful posts.
I vow never to post repeat bad news.
I vow to write 10 letters a week or more to newspapers and other media outlets. I won't let false information stand without challenge in the media.
I vow to be patient, to know that we are still 7 weeks from the election, and to know that if I want results, I need to help make them.
I vow not to get sucked in by Rovian plays.
I vow never to never call other voters stupid. I vow to let voters know that if they were tricked in the past by clever propaganda, it was because they were lied to by people they knew they should have been able to trust. I vow to repeat Obama's phrase "Do they think we're stupid?" whenever faced by Republican lies.
I vow not to post RW talking points.
I vow never to post something that will demoralize our own side.
I vow to always remember that one person can make a difference. I vow to work to make that difference.
(Sorry. I can't vow to venture to freeperville. I have a weak stomach. I vow to give solace and encouragement to those who do.)
I vow to keep my posts from here on focused on real issues, not rovian diversions.
I vow to avoid personal attacks. They do us no good at all. I vow not to buy or post from the National Enquirer. (such an easy vow, at least the NE part.)
I vow to volunteer as many hours as I can each week until the election working for our cause.
I vow to keep it positive and to work constantly for the win.
Anyone else want to join me?
