What better way could Republicans possibly distinguish between a black ticket and a white ticket than by placing a white god-fearing woman on their ticket who comes from the snow white state of Alaska?

What better way could Republicans re-ignite the subject of abortion than by placing a white god-fearing, anti-choice woman and mother of a 17-yr-old knocked-up daughter on the ticket?

If Republicans really wanted a woman on their ticket, they would have chosen Condi Rice. Not that I like Condi Rice one iota, but at least Condi has a brain and some qualifications under her belt, and Rice had previously been mentioned more than anyone else as the Republican woman of choice, should a woman be considered.

I sincerely think that has yet to be proven, in the sense that her brain would ostensibly be superior to anyone else's. All I've ever heard out of her mouth are neocon talking points, AKA lies and fear-mongering. To me, that is neither intelligent nor any kind of real qualification.

Whoever was to become the Republican nominee this year was doomed to be a footsoldier in the Neocon Revolution. The PNAC still has a stranglehold on the upper echelon of the GOP. They are in charge of the talking points and the marching orders. If THEY had wanted Condi, it would have been Condi.

I get the feeling McCain went against the recommendations for VP from his staff. I don't think Palin is the one most Repubs really would have chosen if given the chance. I do think they're very good at putting lipstick on that pig and getting behind her though.
