I'm on a mission. A mission to get CNN to pull that piece of crap, hit job they did on Biden
OFF the air.

Anybody with me?

I'm talking phone calls and emails.
But they won't listen to one voice. They'll sure hear it loud and clear if there are alot of us.

If you want to join me on my mission - please respond to this thread and then, hopefully, we can put our heads together with a plan of action.

My email today to their "Report an error" section:

Information left out:
*Violence Against Women Act
*Biden's fight to end genocide in Bosnia
*Biden's meeting with Milosovec.
*The Biden crime bill
*Biden mission to get MRAPs to our troops and how that has saved 75% of troops lifes and limbs.

WRONG INFORMATION-
Biden's plan for Iraq was NOT A PARTITION-after his appearance on MTP last weekend I cannot believe you even called it that. I thought he explained it in a way that even a 2 yr old would understand.
*His plan was praised by many, including President Talibani, Sistani, and many other world leaders.
*His son Hunter had nothing to do with the bankruptcy bill. That is a LIE. His son worked as a manager in the ONLINE BANKING division ---which has nothing to do with credit cards.
-------------------------------------------------------
I sincerely suggest the management of CNN pulls that 'special' on Joe Biden off of the air.
Instead on informing viewers on the great accomplishments of Sen. Biden, the entire program concentrated on negativity and lies.
Did the person in charge of that piece even do her homework?
All she would have had to do is go to Biden's Senate web page. Alot of information is right there.
It was a complete embarassment for your network, and I bet even Fox News would do a better job.

1. In stark contrast to the Biden piece is the snow job they did on Palin. Incredibly fawning and
filled with slobbering praise, to the point where I got physically nauseous.

CNN = FOX2

5. I watched the Palin piece as well. It was all fluff.
Even when they brought up troopergate, they presented both sides to that story.

So - are you in?

3. I'll write/call, but they won't pull it...
it was done on purpose. Seriously though, I don't think it won/lost any support for Obama/Biden. Maybe I've just gotten use to this shit, but I think it's hopeless to ask for fairness in reporting.

But I'll write and call.

4. The thing about CNN is that they will play this over and over and over and over.
That's what they do.
So it will eventually be seen by almost everyone that has cable/satellite.

The best thing that could happen is that Randi Rhodes - who has now confessed that she was a Bidenite in the primaries - will get on this and motivate her listeners to do the same.
I think I'll try to email her ;)

6. There was some negative stuff but also positive stuff as well
After watching both bios last night Biden is definitely the more interesting one (who knew?, we did). Palin, well there was not much about her to know. Lets see, from what I remember from last night, she was beauty queen who became a mayor and was a bitch to alot of people around her as well. Couldn't hack it as mayor so she had to hire an assistant and the Bridge to Nowhere lie. She also abused her power in office and got more earmarks from government than any other state (so much for fiscally responsible government). Joe's had some negative things but also covered what a good father he is, how he took on Bork's crazy ideology and how he bounced back after the plagiarism scandal and brain surgery. I did not like how they left out the crime bill and Violence Against Women Act but I think the interviewer did come away liking Joe and interested in his life. I mean how could you not?

10. You're right! I was literally yelling at the TV when she said that.
Sad - there was just so much crap in there that you can't keep track of it all.

9. You bring up good points, P.
Although I expected the negative stuff, which is always brought up regarding Biden, they neglected to highlight all the good he has done. I'm in.

13. I was looking forward to watching this
I fell asleep and missed it. It's disappointing but not unexpected that they did this.

I am definitely with you and will send emails.

Biden is the most misunderstood politician in the country. I understand why, they can't control him. That's why they keep perpetuating the myth that he's a gaffe machine. They want him to stay quiet.
