3. It's short, to the point,
and it's the god's truth. Anyone with a brain will connect McCain's 'administration' with Bush's.

8. most voters don't have a 'brain'.
They vote emotionally, not logically.

13. You don't think linking McCain to Bush is an emotional ploy?
Bush's presidency has been seen by and large as one tainted with scandal and failure.

5. Good start. But he needs to keep going and dumb it down.
He needs to list several quick sound bytes explaining how corporate special interests are working against hard working Americans. How oil and credit card lobbyists hurt them. Simple day-to-day examples. This is still too high level for most working class Americans who don't have the time to try to figure out what Obama's getting at here.

Obama tends to do builds, so I'm hoping this is where he is going.

7. I Like It
I also like the way his ads are almost always showing McCain and Bush together. Voters must view them as twins joined at the hip.

10. Music too soft and soothing
Need something more foreboding, more ominous like from Jaws or when Vader appeared in Star Wars.

14. The soundtrack guy in Obama's ad camp needs to be FIRED! I'm sick of the chopin-like music.
If you run a negative ad, the key is to capture someone's attention. The music they have selected for the Obama attack ads is the WORST sort of selection if you are interested in grabbing attention.

11. It's an excellent attack on McCain.
It does nothing to contrast Obama as "authentic" change.

Which is fine, as long as you don't think voters will ask, "How many lobbyists is Obama working with, and other than the "D" instead of the "R" after his name, what real 'change' can we count on from Obama?"

If you think they will simply assume that Obama offers authentic, positive "change," it's great.

Perhaps it should be followed up by a 30 second spot focused on real, concrete, specific, authentic change offered by Obama.

For those voters who don't assume things.
