A DU Action Alert: Call Obama's NATIONAL campaign; Tell them Obama must speak out on election fraud

NOW...

It is my belief that the campaign must be encouraged to address the issue of election fraud PREEMPTIVELY. We are all holding our breathes and hoping that the sheer volume of Obama votes will be enough to overcome a rigged election by the GOP. This is ridiculous. If we are going to give our time, our money, and our passion to elect Barack Obama, he MUST lead on this issue. He must inform the electorate of the GOP tactics and educate the voters how to fight back. Thousands of us have been working tirelessly to educate the American public with little resouces and no support from our democratic leadership.

Yesterday, I called the national campaign headquarters and talked to a campaign rep. She is putting me in touch with a more senior campaign official to further discuss my concerns and opinions about the issue of election fraud. Please call the National Campaign and tell them you want Obama to LEAD on addressing the issue of election fraud. A public awareness campaign. A major speech. A state by state guide to protecting every voter's right linked to the front of his home page. In addition, call your state campaign headquarters and ask them what is their SPECIFIC PLAN to address the issue of election fraud, and what is the campaign going to do when it occurs on election day?

The GOP is already rigging this election. It is not an option to simply ignore it and hope for the best.

Questions I asked:

Does Obama plan on giving any major speeches addressing the issue of election fraud? Does the campaign plan to publicly address the vote caging campaign John McCain is waging in swing states with his mass blanket of problem absentee ballots sent to democratic voters? (Don't check the box stating you are an eligible voter - not required by law, btw - have your vote challenged by the GOP). Does the campaign have a national strategy that they are sharing with state campaigns? Do they have state campaign individuals appointed to monitoring election fraud in their state? What is Obama's plan if mass election fraud is revealed on election day, and does he even have a plan in place? What voter education programs has the campaign developed to ensure voters know how to protect their vote?

The person didn't have any answers, and I am waiting for my call back. If I don't hear from them, I will definitely call again. And, again.

Please join me in pressuring the Obama campaign to act responsibly and address the issue of election fraud before it is too late.

1. Why does Obama have to do this?
Where is the NATIONAL PARTY?

Obama is being forced to do every fucking thing to prop up the party AND run for national election with everything and everybody hurling things against him. Get the fucking State Party Chairmans moving.

2. Do that too...Obama doesn't need to do the groundwork but he does need to lead by giving his voice

Only then will it get any real media attention...

4. He has already done an excellent job. Tell your Democratic legislators instead !!

Obama's personal note to remind voters to check their registrations is a big help. That will uncover some of the voters who may have been purged this round.

Obama has lawyers and poll watchers standing by to observe and help in any way they can.

The pressure should not be applied to the Obama Campaign, they are FULLY AWARE of the pitfalls.

FOR TRUE REFORM, a lot more work needs to be done by our Congresspeople and Senators but CANNOT BE COMPLETED IN 52 DAYS.

Please contact your legislators and be sure they support any efforts to recount votes and examine suspicious results.

The Go Along to Get Along Democrats who didn't want to appear as sore losers and didn't challenge the suspicious results and those that pushed Kerry to concede too soon are the ones you want to talk with.

YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSPEOPLE are the ones to talk with. Get them to push for paper ballots.

Edited to Add: Actually, STATE OFFICIALS can be a big help. Like Governor Richardson in getting paper ballots for New Mexico. Let's get more Democrats in as Secretaries of State.

An excellent summary of the Republican election manipulation of recent years, as well as some historical perspective can be viewed in STEALING AMERICA: VOTE BY VOTE. www.stealingamericathemovie.com
