Warning - May make you ill - Lies? How about blatant forgery & character assault of Obama?
I found this site after looking for insight into the latest polling. It took me to this disgusting site!

http://www.exposeobama.com/

This site is on the par with the Obama Waffles. It made me literally ill. It does show however how low some of the Republican's will stoop to save their tax dollars and billion dollar contracts! Even the pictures of Sen. Obama are distorted.

After looking over these out and out lies and accusations I checked on who runs the smut and it turns out there are 3 people on the "team":

http://www.exposeobama.com/staff.html

Floyd Brown is a writer, speaker, broadcaster and business owner.

Bruce E. Hawkins, Executive Director - political strategist for conservatives including Pat Robertson, Pat Buchanan and Mike Huckabee.

and James V. Lacy, Treasurer and General Counsel

James V. Lacy is co-founder and managing partner of Wewer & Lacy, LLP. Mr. Lacy has over 25 years of experience as a manager and director of nonprofit organizations, and has acted as legal counsel to charitable organizations and other nonprofits since 1979. Mr. Lacy advises clients in obtaining and maintaining federal and state tax exemptions.

..............

I also found that this site is paid for by the National Campaign Fund. After looking up this National Campaign Fund up I found out they are the founders of the Expose Obama site and have a website at the following link:

http://www.nationalcampaignfund.com/index.php

............

I would hope that the DU community can dig into this and expose these people for who they really are. I am very disappointed in the way this campaign is going and it looks like there are no morals or values left in the Republican Party! Is this really the kind of country we want to live in? I thought it couldn't get any worse then Nixon but I was truly wrong! This is even sicker then the Bush 2004 run. Sick! Our country is dying right before our eyes and these fallacious people just keep churning up vicious lies!

1. Floyd Brown created the Willie Horton ad
and I think even republicans don't like to be associated with him because of that.

2. 2000 Bush attack on McCain hasn't stopped him from letting filth like this go out.
He is letting people like this bring this campaign down to that same shameful level.

7. Here's some information on the group
http://www.mediatransparency.org/story.php?storyID=236

May 5, 2008

Floyd Brown and David Bossie have spent a good part of their political careers making life miserable for Bill and Hillary Clinton. Unlike Richard Mellon Scaife, the billionaire financier who was unremitting in his efforts to take the Clintons down during the latter part of the twentieth century and whose newspaper endorsed Senator Hillary Clinton prior to the Pennsylvania primary, neither Brown nor Bossie have had a pro-Hillary conversion.

These days, however, Brown's new organization, The National Campaign Fund -- which launched a new website "ExposeObama.com" -- and Bossie's Citizens United have added Sen. Barack Obama to the mix.

Brown recently told Time magazine that "he had established several other front groups to fund a long-range effort to erode Obama's support, including a second PAC, called The Legacy Committee, a 527 organization called Citizens for a Safe and Prosperous America and a so-called "social welfare" 501(c)4 nonprofit called the Policy Issues Institute." . . .

"The campaign by Hillary Clinton has not been able to raise Obama's negatives," Brown told Time. "It is absolutely critical that Obama's negatives go up with Republicans." Time reported that copies of the ad were "e-mailed to between 3 and 7 million conservatives this week, with a plea for more funding to further spread the message."

10. I mean this seriously. That is a mental illness you're witnessing.
Several years ago, one of the pyschological associations released a report that they're adding a condition to the books. It's that "angry white man" syndrome. It's usually marked by irrational hatred, paranoia, and severe anger. I'm completely serious. Many of the people you see who are pushing groups like those, making it their life mission to take down the Clintons and now Obama, the ones with the bumper stickers that should get them a visit from the Secret Service, are afflicted with that syndrome.

I think I remember it coming from a sense of powerlessness and rage in their own lives, and they find someone to take it out on. The extreme hate radio that emerged in the early 90s fueled the syndrome. Those guys you find in their house with booby trapped guns, or the ones that make threats against their local city council, are all the same types.

The hate radio, people like Glenn Beck getting tv shows, the books that are published, the crazy internet sites, are all exacerbating the problem. And they you have people who make money off of this dangerous mindset, like Rush, Michael Savage, etc.

13. This is so relevant to this issue - Remember the 2 Democratic members that were shot recently?
Groups like this are catalyst to this kind of violence. I don't see how someone can say they are not. These kind of false lies and accusations play on those who are depressed all ready. And yet these kind of Republican organizations say they are for the common good - my butt they are!

This is what the following article is talking about when it says that McCain in choosing Palin didn't think about the country at large, and only he thought of was winning! - But at what cost?

Did McCain put 'country first' by choosing Palin?

http://www2.morganton.com/content/2008/sep/04/did-mccain-put-country-first-choosing-palin/news-opinion/

Mark Selm

Published: September 4, 2008

Morganton, N.C. - As if there weren't enough reasons to question John McCain's ability to lead our country, now comes his choice for vice president.

You can almost hear his thought process: "They say I'm misogynistic, I'll pick a woman; they say I'm too old, she's gotta be young; they say I'm losing my 'maverick' edge, well, she's gotta be a controversial outsider; they say I'm too rich and out of touch, she's gotta be 'blue collar;' they say I'm at risk of losing the conservative Christian vote, got that one covered. I don't want them looking too closely at me. Let them go after her and, when they do, they will be the ones who look bad. It's a win-win."

If this isn't deliberate pandering, then I don't know what it is. And yet, McCain and the "Country First" Republican National Committee have the gall to accuse the Obama campaign of caring more about winning the election than governing the country. How's that for spin?

Do you really think McCain could look you in the eye and tell you that he put his country first with this choice?

..............

I hope some of the Republican's who haven't drank the kool-aid have asked themselves this question and also asked if this kind of campaign is the right thing for this country!

8. they're all nasty pig-f**kers - I firmly believe they have been corrupted morally by wealth and what
it brings them...

they demonize Obama with nary a shred of evidence. they attack his character by attributing him to other's problems, but find little to nothing on him. they are afraid of losing their power and/or for being found OUT!

15. Realizing how vile they are makes one understand that there is no "fair" play in their play book.
If Obama and his campaign come down to this level how can they ever dig themselves out? I think we have to tell people that there is a lot of false and distasteful lies out there in e-mails and on the net and not to believe everything they hear. Give them this Vote Vet site to check on:

12. I get a link to this site whenever I read my gmail.
Of course I have never clicked on it. Are you insane? What are you going to "dig into"? If you find out something, then what?

Try not reading things that make you ill. Since nothing can be done about it, leave it be.

That was started by Beckwith, the freeper who started the whole Obama's a Moslem thing. (page 3)

Now we have the producer of the Willie Horton ad with his own smear engine too.
