13. She was McCain's choice

A lot of the muck being dumped on Palin is splashing over onto McCain. I understand this is not about the issues, but a lot of people aren't really as interested in issues as they are in appearance and personality. If they were the Rovian bullshit would never have worked in the past. But even the low information voters are becoming aware that she's a problem, and by association, so is McCain. When even Katie Couric is reporting bad things about you, you're cooked.

Took him 6 months to pick his running mate.
Why?

Because he wanted to try and counter whoever Obama would pick to be his vice presidential running mate.

and it looked like Obama was going to cruise into the White House. After McCain picked Palin, his numbers took a decided turn for the better and now he is, in fact, leading in polls. Hmmmm...what could it be that people are finding attractive NOW about the McCain ticket that they didn't before....hmmmmmm....Well, whatever it is, I think we should probably attack it.
