I am thrilled that Obama is tied in the polls with McCain, or even winning!

Who would have thought one year ago that a young black man with a non-western name would have at least a 50% chance of winning the WH? Obama is doing incredible and if he wins the debates he'll win the election by at least 5 percentage points and he'll take 300 EVs!!

Now is the time to build up McCain for the debates! Set high expectations for him (and Palin). Set low expectations for Obama.

5. Let me add that a Dem hasn't coasted to victory since at least

1964. We can't expect to coast to an easy win. It's going to be a hard 50 days or so. The debates will decide who wins this thing. Let's hope that Obama can speak in short, crisp sentences and he eliminates his "ummms".

The debates will be about issues and when issues are discussed we win!!!

I remember just when the entire campaign season began, and my best friend said he'd read in Rolling Stone that Edwards would probably end up being the nominee. I thought that might probably be right. I didn't have enough faith in my fellow Americans to support a woman or a Black guy. And now look! The two leaders in our campaign -- that very woman and that very Black guy!

I think Obama will win this fall - he's by far the better man. McCain is resorting to violent attacks and lies because he knows Obama would mop the floor with him if he didn't fill the airwaves with hate.
