I'm pretty good at doing research on the internet.

But really, I can’t find a speech, a policy pronouncement, a bill she’s written in Alaska that indicates any aspect of her energy expertise that goes beyond “drill here, drill now” or “gimme gimme gimme” (whether it comes from oil company payoffs or earmarks).

Please, this is an honest request for information. I just can't find any evidence that she has any expertise in this area, other than be anointed an expert by the press and the Republicans.

1. She Must Have seen An Oil Rig In The Distance Once Or Twice, Sir
There is no other basis for the charge of expertise whatsoever.

And make no mistake, allegations of expertise are an accusation: 'ordinary folks', 'folks like us', know nothing of energy policy; only elitists have expertise....

2. Her husband works for BP
Whoever you marry, you get all your spouse's expertise by osmosis.

Think of those guys like Kelsey Grammer who marry strippers. :scared:

5. It all depends on what the definition of "energy expert" is.
To John McCain and the GOP, any politician who is willing to do whatever the oil industry wants is an energy expert. Obviously.

6. Alaska is the closest state to the Sun. Do you know of any bigger source of energy?

9. Seems to me that if she was such an "expert" on energy,
she would have been included in Prick Cheney's Energy Task force
