Hi Lee and Dick

Please tell all the Americans the rest of the world would like a truly statesmanlike and international looking President like Obama and not another George Bush disaster in the form of Top Gun McCain and "Calamity Jane" Pallin. We have this horrible sense of doom looming again as the USA looks like it is about to do the same thing as it did in 2000 - elect a bunch of cowboys who have no idea what they are doing and reject highly capable and wise potenial leaders who could make a real difference to world peace and progress e.g. Al Gore and John Kerry..

Isn't Obama an Illinois person - what do you think of him versus Hillary? This Sarah Palin looks like a real intellectual Neanderthal. I'm genuinely frightened by someone with her views and experience (or specifically lack of it) getting one step away from a President who looks like he could easily die or become incapacitated in office. How difficult is it to run a back country redkneck state like Alaska which has rivers of oil revenues vs a whole country and international issues.

Hope you guys are well and that my lefty, liberal views aren't too disturbing to you! I regard Illinois as a beacon of enlightenment in the USA political sea.
