Sarah Palin: Love her or Hate her? There is no in between.

It is pretty clear now that Sarah Palin is set to be the most polarizing political figure this country has seen. People either LOVE her or HATE her. Anyone who isn't sure has not been pay attention -- when they really do, they will either LOVE her or HATE her. Because there is no substance to Palin, she's all about style. So Camille Paglia loves her, but somebody like me (a stay at home Mom, no less) can't stand her.

I don't see the point in arguing with people who LOVE her. You will not convince them otherwise. As to undecideds who LOVE her, just talk about McCain, because in the end, people don't vote based on a V.P. Just ask Mondale.

And lucky for my blood pressure, I dont know anyone who loves her. As for the women I know... hate is an understatement.

2. I was shocked at how quickly I've come to despise her. I mute the TV or turn the channel.

I was worried that she would come off as likable and compelling in her convention speech. I only saw the last half and thought she was incredibly nasty and divisive. Likable? I was repulsed.

If she were the check out lady at my super market and I only had to hear that annoying voice for a few minutes, once a week, I would probably find her quite pleasant and likeable.
