2. Looks pretty stable to me.
McCain is at a solid 48%, and we're stuck at 43-44%.

Team Obama better come out swinging HARD tomorrow.

7. Yes, he has been here since 2004 just waiting for this poll to come out so he can post his concern.
geesh, some people are paranoid. Not every opinion that doesn't spout rainbows and unicorns is a freeper in disguise.

10. He's been at 48% all week.
Sorry, but we better hope Gallup is just plain wrong.

12. GALLUP had McCain 5 points ahead IN JULY.
Most polls show a tie or Obama slightly ahead.

14. McCain was never up that high in RV's in the tracker.
They had one poll where he was up in the LV category.

18. More from Gallup:
This is McCain's best performance since late April and early May, when he was ahead of Obama in eight consecutive Gallup Poll Daily tracking reports, which included a campaign-best six percentage point lead. In March, shortly after he clinched the Republican Party's presidential nomination, McCain was ahead of Obama in 19 consecutive Gallup Poll Daily tracking reports. 9. It is one poll
Remember Ras has them tied now two days in a row. This is a dead-heat folks. It really comes down to winning the "correct" states and the GOTV campaign.

20. Well, 6 straight days of 48-44 is a lot different.
It would be one thing with just one day, but this is six straight days of almost uniform results. That's a stable lead.

13. Since Gallup has redistributed their polls with more Republicans...
I find them very hard to take seriously.

There aren't an even number of registered Republicans and Democrats but Gallup is pretending like there are. Bullshit.
