The tears, the horror, the pain is fresh.

Republicans basically made a commercial out of the nightmare of 9-11-01 and used it to their political advantage.

What they did should be criminal.

In my book, these are also terrorists and there is little difference between those who were involved in the politicizing of a horrible, horrible day in American history and those who masterminded and participated in the plan to attack America.

2. That's what I can't understand the Democratic Party

let the GOP own 9/11. It happened 8 months into their watch and they have somehow been able to convince the American public they are the ones that can protect us. The Democratic party should have blamed the Repugs from day one for 9/11. When the American people think of 9/11 they should link it to the Repugs. Probably a very large percentage of the American people today actually think Bill Clinton was President on 9/11.

on edit: The DNC should have been able to play the 9/11 video at their convention reminding people it was a Republicant that let it happen.
