Let us remember what we sacrificed ... (picture heavy) (Xpost from GD)
On this seventh anniversary of the attacks, let us take a moment to remember all that we have lost.

"...Liberals must stop saying President Bush hasn't asked Americans to sacrifice for the war on terror. On the contrary, he's asked us to sacrifice something enormous. Our civil rights.

"...after 9/11, President Bush told us Osama bin Laden could run but he couldn't hide. But, then he ran and hid. So, Bush went to Plan B: pissing on the Constitution and torturing random people." Bill Maher

Along with the twin towers and the 2,998 people who were killed and the over 6,000 wounded let us take a moment to remember what we have sacrificed ...

...billions of dollars...

...the respect and goodwill of allies...

...freedom of the press...

...the right to petition our government...

...countless Iraqi civilian lives...

...thousands of troops killed and wounded...

...the first, fourth, sixth, seventh and eighth amendments, habeas corpus...
