She makes herself out to be such a squeaky clean do-gooder and she sounds passionate about it. Then you learn what she is really up to and its the complete opposite.

And you can confront her with her lies, which everyone will back up, yet she will continue on and on and on.

She is way more dangerous than Bush, because Bush always looked kind of lost. Beware of her...she is a very very good con-artist.

5. I listen to Bush and I never fail to be disgusted.
But I listen to her, and if I didn't know better, I'd think she was telling the truth.

3. I think she comes off as fake but she lies with ease and is comfortable
spinning yarns.

Of course I didn't buy Raygun's bull either and I was a kid. A news and later a CSPAN cracked out kid, but still a kid.

No more Regan terms...ENOUGH!!!

4. I think it's because she really does believe her own lies.
I do not believe anyone could do so as strongly and consistently as she does without actually coming to accept them as truth.

6. You think she convinced herself she turned down the $ for the bridge to nowhere?
She can't possibly be that self-delusional. That would mean there was something wrong with her.

7. She's pathological. It's completely natural for her to tell any
story she constructs, and she has no guilt or conscience regarding it.

10. Sociopath - no regards for others' feelings definition follows
Edited on Thu Sep-11-08 03:07 AM by TxBlue
Antisocial personality disorder (APD) is a mental disorder characterized by a "pervasive disregard for the law and the rights of others."<1> It is defined by the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual: "The essential feature for the diagnosis is a pervasive pattern of disregard for, and violation of, the rights of others that begins in childhood or early adolescence and continues into adulthood due to the lack of love and care for the child."<2> Deceit and manipulation are considered essential features of the disorder. Therefore, it is essential in making the diagnosis to collect material from sources other than the individual being diagnosed. Also, the individual must be age 18 or older as well as have a documented history of a conduct disorder before the age of 15.<2> People having antisocial personality disorder are sometimes referred to as "sociopaths" and "psychopaths".

Diagnostic criteria

Three or more of the following are required:

1. Failure to conform to social norms with respect to lawful behaviors as indicated by repeatedly performing acts that are grounds for arrest;
2. Deceitfulness, as indicated by repeatedly lying, use of aliases, or conning others for personal profit or pleasure;
3. Impulsivity or failure to plan ahead;
4. Irritability and aggressiveness, as indicated by repeated physical fights or assaults;
5. Reckless disregard for safety of self or others;
6. Consistent irresponsibility, as indicated by repeated failure to sustain consistent work behavior or honor financial obligations;
7. Lack of remorse, as indicated by being indifferent to or rationalizing having hurt, mistreated, or stolen from another.

The antisocial behavior must not occur exclusively during an episode of schizophrenia or a manic episode.

Just what we don't need in oval office.

11. Fits Profile of Socio/Psycopathic Symptoms
Edited on Thu Sep-11-08 03:07 AM by TxBlue
Geez, when you see her lack of interaction with children you see she fits profile closely. Especially, with a new baby she holds it like of sack of flour. Even if it's a grandchild, an average grandmother would hold it more lovingly.

From DSM:

Symptoms of Sociopath:

Characteristics of people with antisocial personality disorder may include:

* Persistent lying or stealing
* Recurring difficulties with the law
* Tendency to violate the rights and boundaries of others
* Substance abuse
* Aggressive, often violent behavior; prone to getting involved in fights
* A persistent agitated or depressed feeling (dysphoria)
* Inability to tolerate boredom
* Disregard for the safety of self or others
* A childhood diagnosis of conduct disorders - this is not a symptom but "a history of"
* Lack of remorse, related to hurting others
* Superficial charm
* Impulsiveness
* A sense of extreme entitlement
* Inability to make or keep friends
* Recklessness, impulsivity
* People with a diagnosis of antisocial personality disorder often experience difficulties with authority figures.

She gets everyone else to hold him for her. What's really weird to me is that she kept the pregnancy a secret from family and coworkers for 7 months. Like she was emotionally disconnected from him even while she was pregnant... poor kid.

she has a lot of stage presence, and with that, you can lie quite easily.
