Can we talk about the election?
We fallen into their trap again. This election is about jobs, the environment and energy!! We have unemployment going off the scale, we have an energy problem that has been clusterfuked by the worst President ever and the environment has no guardians involved from Washington. And we're talking about fukking lipstick? WTH? No wonder Obama is off his game. he can't talk about lipstick for God's sake!!

He needs to get back on message and "we" need to get back on telling people about the change they need to hear about. NOT LIPSTICK!! Please god, make it stop!

1. You may be missing something ...

The lipstick comment was a trap, and McCain bit ... hard.

Now, every single time it comes up, we get to hear Obama criticize the core of McCain's policy positions and how bad they are, e.g. jobs, the environment, energy, etc.

But wait; there's more.

McCain bit the trap so hard he now has both his and his running mates bald-faced lies being spotlighted day and night along with the "lipstick on a pig" controversy. He's got media personalities who hadn't previously lifted one rhetorical finger to look deeper than the first millimeter under the skin of his stated policy positions calling him out, calling him a liar ... openly (with visuals) showing him as a fraud.

The story itself will be important for a news cycle or two. The fallout from it will endure.

It's awesome.

2. Agreed.
This election is so important to the nation. The future of the United States is hanging in the balance the next 50+ days and all I hear on the new is "pig...lipstick....pig.....lipstick". Grrrr. Obama handled it with brilliance and class. Wow! Imagine that in a candidate for high office. LOL.

It should be all about jobs, the enviroment, Iraq and Bush/Mclame/Sarah lies to the American voting public. Period.

I'm excited yet fearful about the election. I cannot wait untill election evening.

5. when i first got in tonight I saw a clip of the mcsame "ad"
on larry king and my wife was pissed about it. I saw it and was like, really that's the ad? I hope they run that thing over and over!

Its brilliant. Mcsames own ad works against him.
