I am anti war. Period. I'm smarter than that. Call me one of the liberal elite if you want. I never really thought I was elite, especially since I am the daughter of working class parents who don't have high school diplomas.

I would say a majority of Americans know by now the reasons for invading Iraq were fabricated (gosh I'm being polite)

So let us start with what we know. Here is a mother, who is allowing her teen aged son, to go into harm's way, for what? Can't be because we're afraid Saddam is going to get us, they hung his ass before he had a chance to tell on them. So. What could the reason be?

I see a very sick human being here. I'd be willing to bet my life, that most of those who are serving in the military, joined for a better opportunity, a better chance of becoming self supporting. There are always those who feel the calling regardless. And I thank them, for if it were not for them, we would have no one to defend us when it is necessary. We all know the world isn't a pretty place these days. America isn't a pretty place these days.

But here is a kid. A kid! A child...who has advantages that many of our children do not have, who has joined the armed forces (I'd like to know when) during a time when there is absolutely NO REASON to be in Iraq. None.

If it's about America's business interests, then let the fucking businessmen fight the war.

He's a kid. The "war" is a sham. He has other options. It's a publicity stunt. Her daughter is a publicity stunt. SHE is a publicity stunt and it is irresponsible as hell.
