and I would imagine it galls HIllary that anyone puts Palin even remotely on par with Hillary.

8. As much as I'm pro-women candidates-this one will set us back 100 years

I couldn't figure out what annoyed me so much about Palin till I happened on the thought that she is no Hillary or Jeanne Shaheen or carol shea-porter. To me it seems like an insult to us Hillary supporters. I personally liked Biden's response yesterday, pointing out that Hillary was qualified to be pres ..pause(th following unspoken) unlike McCain's pick.
It goes to McCain's judgment.
