Please don't flame me! I've always said that I'll support the Democratic candidate. It doesn't matter who my "favorite" is....

1.) The GOP manipulated the 2000 and 2004 elections; and they are going to do it again (they think).

2.) The Clintons were correct; NOW is the time for a woman in the White House (policy is not the issue, but demographics count.)

The repubs were smart to pick Palin and Obama was wrong to leave Hillary off the ticket. That translates into swing in "neutral and GOP women" votes.

RCP Average 09/05 - 09/09 -- 47.4 45.2 McCain +2.2
FOX News 09/08 - 09/09 900 RV 45 42 McCain +3
Gallup Tracking 09/07 - 09/09 2714 RV 48 43 McCain +5
Hotline/FD Tracking 09/07 - 09/09 902 RV 45 45 Tie
Rasmussen Tracking 09/07 - 09/09 3000 LV 47 48 Obama +1
NBC News/Wall St. Jrnl 09/06 - 09/08 860 RV 45 46 Obama +1
ABC News/Wash Post 09/05 - 09/07 LV 49 47 McCain +2
USA Today/Gallup 09/05 - 09/07 823 LV 54 44 McCain +10
CBS News 09/05 - 09/07 655 RV 46 44 McCain +2
CNN/OpinionResearch 09/05 - 09/07 942 RV 48 48 Tie

1.) We need to get LOTS of Democrats registered and STOP the voting manipulations. The DNC is NOT doing enough. Call them. Get involved.
2.) Obama needs to announce some important role for Hillary, even though it may be too little, too late. Maybe Palin will be so bad that the tide turns. Hillary is smart enough to be an asset.

You can be right and still lose: I know because I live in Florida.

Let's be right and WIN this time!

2. People aren't drawn to Palin because she is a woman,
but because she is a fundamentalist wingnut. Those same people would have been even more motivated to vote against a ticket that had Hillary on it because they loathe her. No mistake was made.

3. That's not what the polls here are showing..,
GOP women were going to Hillary, now they are going back to Palin. Maybe the polls are wrong, maybe those polled are uninformed, but the reality is that Hillary was NOT offensive to a part of the GOP base so they were jumping ship. Not all, but enough to swing a close state.
