A HAD Enough prong focusing on the issues and a "they are trying to perpetrate another fraud on the American people" prong. The same slimy gang that gave us Bush/Cheney is trying to give us McCain/Palin AND the same groups that called the shots for the last 8 years, the Neocons, corporations, and fundamentalists will be calling the shots the next 4.

2. then the issue is how to get massive numbers of people voting
And to do that we have to get them on our side. Taking the lofty high road at this point, with them using the Rovian tactics will get them more votes than us.

Like him or not, last night Lionel on AAR was right. He asked "Do you want to be right or do you want to win?"

3. Kerry flubbed a joke...
...something about if you're not smart you go to Iraq. He succumbed to media pressure and apologized.

Obama is addressing trivial matter and putting it in it's proper place, while focusing on issues. He can do both.

7. I wonder how many people are really paying attention to issues?
Last week, I was next to two people discussing who were the election. One had absolutely NO CLUE who was running for president. The other one had just watched the repelican convention. She couldn't even remember her candidate's name. Folks, there are too many of them out there. And, there are many who think that whoever is elected has the average American's interests at heart and things will work out no matter who leads. Democracy is taken for granted here by far too many.
