Palin and The Media

You know, when I scan the news headlines in Google's Top Stories, National and Election sections, it looks to me that there are far more negative articles about Palin than positive ones. In fact, most of the positive ones seem to be coming from Fox.

I find this heartening and wanted to bring the point up here. Because if I was just reading DU, I'd think that the media was in an all out love fest with End Times Barbie and it's just not so.

1. I still believe Sarah will rue the day

she ever said "yes" to John McCain. Her political career in Alaska has taken quite a hit because of all the negative stuff that has been dug up. At least as governor she was somewhat likeable and took pains to keep partisanship to a minimum. While we all knew she was socially conservative (reactionary) she didn't try to inject those views into her political modus operandi. The press here is starting to resent the bubble Rove et al. have put her in. I don't think all of this bodes well for her future here, unless they manage to come through this and win the presidential election, a possibility almost too horrible to contemplate.

2. I know you are right!

A lot of this stuff will haunt her when she returns to the governorship. Now Alaskans will see what was behind that mask.

I really think she thought rove, rush and company could cover her like they did george bush. While that worked for 2000 and even 04, it has basically run its course.

3. I agree absolutely. She's being revealed as the vindictive LIAR that she is.

And I seriously think that Alaskans didn't realize that before, but do now.

4. unfortunately big media = TV and radio is in love with McCain Palin.

The retards that are swayed by sound bites make the elections and they do not read. They just listen for sound bites between beers and beating their spouses and kids.
