Re-Post from 09-04-08 - Lipstick On A Pig
Last night, Sarah Palin said that the difference between a soccer mom and a pitbull was "lipstick". It was so nice of her to put this race into perspective.

Let me say up front that I am not calling Sarah Palin a "pig". I am calling her Party, the GOP, a PIG. It is John McCain and his Party that have brought out an attractive lady, with very little vetting before the American people, and want everyone to look at their Party in a different way.

Forget the economic concerns. Forget the bank failures. Forget the shredding of our Constitution. Forget the torture of prisoners. Forget the trillions of dollars in debt. Forget the cost of gasoline and food. Forget the value of the dollar and the jobs that have left our country. Forget the massive transfer of wealth. Forget the utter incompetence and criminality of this Administration and the GOP.

Now they have marched Sarah Palin out in front of their Party as the new face and the new "beginning". But make no mistake, there is no new beginning. It is the same old slop. They have effectively put lipstick on the pig, the GOP, but it is still a "pig". Thanks to Sarah Palin for putting this into perspective for the American people.
